... Sometimes I've fallen asleep really quickly at night, and have woken up really suddenly later? Does that count as blacking out? Or am I just tired?

Maybe the testing is rougher than expected. If you're not waking up in weird places, it's not sleep walking, which would be my other guess. Truly a mystery.
