*It's a lovely fall day, and Akira's a bit distracted.

Sure, things have improved a bit when it comes to his uncle and how he's been reacting to him, but something still ultimately... bothered him.

He wasn't even sure why his uncle had been so wary and protective of him in the first place. And he felt like he was losing track of what he was doing more and more... He wondered if he was sick or something, but he didn't seem to have any symptoms of anything actually wrong with him physically, and the recent medical exam employees had to go through found nothing wrong, other than "get more sleep at night".

Which was weird in itself. He slept fine through the night.

So while he's sitting in the plaza, drinking from a canned coffee, he thinks. And thinks.

When will he stop thinking?*

I've been sleeping fine-- and there's nothing different about me. I'm still the same as I ever was.

*but that does bug him a little. The physician did say he should get more sleep. But he's pretty sure he sleeps all night...?*

But far as I'm concerned, I haven't "changed" in any noteworthy way to bother bringing up, especially by LDS's would-be attacker.

*least as far as he can tell. but the changes have been subtle enough that someone looking in a mirror everyday would take little to no notice. A shift in how the jaw is there, a slight offness to the body's structure there...*

I don't know anything about magic.

What I do know, is that if I summon a monster and hit you with it, it'll hurt. But that's about the extent of what I'm "adept" at, with things like that.
